Bahai shop looted in Semnan

PCED, November 29

On the morning of November 29, security forces raided the home of Mr. Akbar Por-hoseini (اکبر پورحسینی) in Semnan, and then went to his optician’s shop and took his entire stock of glasses out of the shop. At the time the report was written, they were still busy looting the shop and loading the goods onto a truck. Mr. Por-hoseini has been sentenced to 2 years and 2 months in prison for his Bahai beliefs, and this sentence has been confirmed by the review court. This is the second time this year that his house and shop have been raided by security forces.
