Another Bahai student expelled from university

HRANA, November 7

Farid Muhammadzadeh ( فرید محمد‌ز اده), a Master’s student at the University of Isfahan, was expelled because on November 4, because of his Bahai beliefs. He is a student of theoretical physics, and had successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree at Isfahan University. Because of his high grades, he was admitted to the Master’s course in fundamental physics without having to take the admissions examination. At the time he was told that he had been expelled, he had completed all the requirements for a Master’s degree except for his dissertation. He was allowed 10 days to lodge an objection [which he has done], but has not received any reply. An unusual aspect of this expulsions is that the University of Isfahan originally sent him a letter of disenrollment two years ago, and after that, accepted his enrollment [in the Master’s course].
